We are happy to announce Libattion as a new member of our growing family! 🎉

The new battery regulation was published on 28 July 2023 in the Official Journal of the European Union. 

EBRA welcomes this new regulation promoting the sustainability and circularity of a European supply chain to an unseen level with ambitious goals and targets. 

EBRA extends its scope to include battery reuse and repurposing!

During the 2023 General Assembly, EBRA Members voted in favour of extending the scope of the association to include, on top of battery sorting and recycling, also battery reuse and repurposing. 🔨

From now on, EBRA will start covering those new aspects of the battery circular economy.

Johan Van Peperzeel, Chairman of the European Battery Recycling Association (EBRA), is pleased to announce that Julie-Ann Adams, of Really Green Credentials, will be succeeding Alain Vassart as Secretary General who is retiring at the end of 2023.
